If you are in this part of Connecticut make sure to pay a visit to Little Pond. The wonderful folks of Torrington like to hang out close by, and you should stop by Marsh Point when you're here. Just can't get enough of Little Pond. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Shepaug River, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn - Torrington is a great location to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Little Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's; the nighttime is rather

| | colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Little Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Barney Hill is clearly visible from Little Pond, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Morris Town Beach. precipitation; during August this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Little Pond you can play some golf at Stonybrook Golf Course, and if you don't mind
getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bantam River. There is a fine hiking trail in the vicinity of Little Pond called the Mattatuck Trail, and explore close by Bantam Swamp. The snow is tremendous at Woodbury,
and on a good day you can take a hike along the Mattatuck Trail. There's so much to do here at Little Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Hemlock Hill Camp Resort and Co-operative is a magnificent site for that; you can
always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Litchfield Town Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Going to Mt. Tom State Park close to Little Pond is a pleasant thing to do; possibly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Duck Pond is just
a very short distance away. Little Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Looking Glass Hill Campgrounds is a great local campground, and nearby you find the Naugatuck Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. So much
amusing stuff to do at Little Pond, so little time. A day on the slopes of Mohawk Mountain is just what you need, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Tollgate Hill Inn.
