Tom State Park which is a charming place, and Duck Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. So many amusing things to do here at Little Pond, too nice to be true. If you come at the right time of year, Bantam River offers some glorious whitewater, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Mattatuck Trail. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll love Little Pond. The view of charming Barney Hill near       Little Pond is magnificent; after a long day outdoors Yankee Pedlar Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. Going for a hike on the Mattatuck Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and if you get bored of Little Pond you could also stop by close by Cranberry Pond. Butternut Brook flows through this neighborhood, and Bantam Swamp is a swamp in the neighborhood of Little Pond. Through the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 80's at Little                  Pond with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Little Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Mohawk Mountain is a magnificent place to do that; nothing beats kicking back at Litchfield Town Beach. Stonybrook Golf Course is a perfect golf course close by; if you came for an overnight stay Hemlock Hill Camp Resort and Co-operative is a nice place to camp. There are some great whitewater spots on Shepaug River, and if you're dropping by from Torrington, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Looking Glass Hill Campgrounds is a great campground nearby; you are in the vicinity of Marsh Point if you're here. Little Pond regularly gets a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Morris Town Beach is a beach in the neighborhood of Little Pond that you can stop at, and the slopes of Woodbury are so inviting nobody can resist.
