Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Powder Ridge is one of those things you just should do, and get drenched paddling on Roaring Brook River. If you want to take a look at some
attention-grabbing stuff, take a look at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch, and perfect skiing awaits you at Mount Southington. Lily Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain while February
is ordinarily the driest month. There's so much to do here at Lily Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Nelson's Family Campground is a fine place for that, and the vista of beautiful Gallows Hill is delightful. Bell Pond
Dam is not far at all from Lily Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Hilton Hartford. This lake is so wonderful. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood
