Lily Pond is in close proximity to Dinosaur State Park which is a stunning site, and Keney Park Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail in close proximity to Lily Pond called the Mattabesset Trail. There's so much to do here at Lily Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Eagle Feather is a glorious location for that. This lake is so wonderful. | | Pond, and near Lily Pond you hit upon a golf course called Keney Golf Course. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mount Southington is near Lily Pond, and Lily Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Nelson's Family Campground is a good local campground. Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch is a magnificent site to go to while in the region, and close by you locate the Washington Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Hartford is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and the Metacomet Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Lily Pond. A day on the slopes of Powder Ridge is just what you
need, and if you're here, you could also take a look at lovely Bell Pond. Any time is a good time at Lily Pond if you love the outdoors. Homewood Suites by Hilton Hartford Downtown is a splendid site to get some rest, and if you're
dropping by from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford, you won't be the only one. You can run the rapids of Farmington River near Lily Pond, and needless to say Hockanum River flows through this region. This lake is so wonderful.
The high level of rainfall makes Lily Pond a relatively wet location; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. Throughout the summer highs here at Lily Pond get into the 80's. Once the sun is down
it falls down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Lily Pond. A great place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Lily Pond is Roaring Brook River, and Bell Pond Dam is pretty.
