A golf course next to Lily Pond is Blue Fox Run Golf Course. The snow is great at Mount Southington, and you can stay the night at Austin Hawes Campground. | | gets a good deal of water; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lily Pond is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, American Legion State Forest is a wonderful site to camp nearby; if you need a site to stay Residence Inn Hartford Avon is a pleasant choice. This place is unbeatable, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do in the vicinity of Lily Pond. | |

Do check out Beaverdam Pond in the vicinity of Lily Pond, it's a stunning lake, and hiking along the Metacomet Trail is wonderful fun. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Farmington River
- Collinsville, and a quick visit to Big Brook is unquestionably a delightful idea. Summertime highs at Lily Pond generally tend to be in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold
days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lily Pond drop into the 10's. A pretty lake like Stub Pond close to Lily Pond is a great place to check out, and the best
way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Sundown. So much amusing stuff to do at Lily Pond, so little time. During your visit to Lily Pond you'll meet some folks from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford for
sure, and a great nearby hotel is Avon Old Farms. This lake is so wonderful. Stub Pond Dam is a beautiful site near Lily Pond; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Mattatuck Trail.
