     Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Richard Trail; tremendous water scenery is available at Lemanquais Pond Dam near Lemanquais Pond. Lemanquais Pond gets a lot of water; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while January is ordinarily the driest month. Lemanquais Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Twin Brook Farm And Camping Areas is a splendid local campground, and the best way to spend a winter day is  
   on the slopes of nearby Ski Sundown.
You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. A brilliant nearby hotel is Quality Inn & Suites, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Torrington for sure. Going for a hike along the Link Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; getting to Center Brook from Lemanquais Pond is simple. You're probably interested in lakes, Colebrook River Lake is one of those close by, and Otis Ridge
 
               is a very popular ski area close at hand.
Summertime highs at Lemanquais Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Lemanquais Pond. Looking for something close to Lemanquais Pond? Lake Marguerite is nearby; Sandy Brook River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Blackberry River Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two, and hiking along the County Road Trail is magnificent fun.
You simply should love Lemanquais Pond. The top of Beech Hill is easily observed from Lemanquais Pond; Tolland State Forest is a great site to take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Farmington River - West Branch; camping at White Pines Campground is always a fine experience.
