    What a nice lake Laurel Lake is. A lot of rain falls at Laurel Lake; during May this area sees the most rain while February is generally the driest month. At Laurel Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows during the wintertime for Laurel Lake tend to be in the 10's. People from Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk  
   love to come to Laurel Lake, and you can see Camfield Hill from Laurel Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Brook Pond Dam is worth stopping at while you're here, and why not camp at Kettletown State Park if you're here at Laurel Lake. Beaver Brook flows through this vicinity, and you're probably interested in lakes, Davidge Pond is one of those nearby. Don't leave Laurel Lake without going to Putnam Memorial Park; if you don't mind getting drenched,
 
               you can always go whitewater paddling on Norwalk River.
This lake is so wonderful. Nothing beats kicking back at Southport Beach, and a tremendous place to camp here at Laurel Lake is Mountain Workshop. Looking for something right next door to Laurel Lake? Beaver Brook Pond is in close proximity, and East Aspetuck River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Laurel Lake.
There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Thunder Ridge, and a fine nearby hotel is The Inn at National Hall. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Laurel Lake. If you're looking for a beach near Laurel Lake, we recommend Sasco Hill Beach; Hilton Garden Inn Norwalk is a brilliant location to get some rest.
