A pleasant nearby hotel is Hilton Garden Inn Norwalk, and beaches are tremendous and Sasco Hill Beach is no exception. You'll meet a lot of people from Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk here, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on East Aspetuck River. A great panorama of scenic Camfield Hill is available from Laurel Lake, and there are other places here than Laurel Lake, for example Davidge Pond. All through the summer at Laurel Lake highs are generally in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's; nighttime lows throughout the winter for Laurel Lake tend to be in the 10's. wonderful. Laurel Lake is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Kettletown State Park is a pleasant spot to camp nearby; not far from Laurel Lake you'll discover Beaver Brook Pond which is a beautiful lake. This lake
is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay The Inn at National Hall is a good choice, and a day on the slopes of Thunder Ridge is just what you need. Beaver Brook is a tremendous local stream, and you can take a little journey to
Beaver Brook Pond Dam while you're here at Laurel Lake. So much entertaining stuff to do at Laurel Lake, so little time. Putnam Memorial Park is a fine site to go if you're at Laurel Lake, and Mountain Workshop is a wonderful campground
nearby. Laurel Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls through May, and the driest of the months is February.
