You can take a little spree to Lake Wintergreen Dam since you're here at Lake Wintergreen, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Regicides Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side tour to Belden Brook; when you're here it's always fun to explore West Rock Ridge State Park. Lake Wintergreen commonly gets a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February. You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Powder Ridge;
you can go for a hike on the Naugatuck Trail. Going for a hike on the Quinnipiac Trail is always a fine adventure, and after a long day outdoors Best Value Inn is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. Econo Lodge Conference Center
is a good spot to get some rest, and a round of golf at nearby Laurel View Country Club Golf is a glorious way to kill some time.
So many cool things to do here at Lake Wintergreen, too delightful to be true. You'll never forgive
yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Southington if you're here; there are plenty of folks from New Haven-Milford here. You could also pop by Bishops Pond if you're here at Lake Wintergreen; it's nearby. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Wintergreen has to offer, you can camp at Gentile's Camp Ground.
