Lake Whitney is a nice lake to visit. If you came for an overnight stay Gentile's Camp Ground is a magnificent spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. During your visit to Lake Whitney you'll meet some folks from New Haven-Milford for sure, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Regicides Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Whitney a wet place; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest of the months is February. One
