Lake Whitney is a lake worth visiting. For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 80's at Lake Whitney, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake Whitney. College Woods is a magnificent local forest, and Web Shop Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. This lake is so perfect. You'll meet a lot of folks

| | from New Haven-Milford here, and Lake Whitney is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Gentile's Camp Ground is a tremendous local campground. A large amount of rain falls at Lake Whitney; most of the rain falls during May; the driest month is February. Any time is a good time at Lake Whitney if you adore the outdoors. you need to camp here for a while, National Computer Camps is a splendid place for that. If you want to hit the beach, Shell Beach is close at hand; needless to say Little River flows through this neighborhood. A lake like this
is too good to miss. If you need a place to stay The Historic Mansion Inn is a great choice, and going for a hike on the Quinnipiac Trail is always a good adventure. Omni New Haven Hotel is a great location to get some rest, and don't
leave Lake Whitney without first going for a hike along the Naugatuck Trail. This is such a fun lake. Really splendid skiing awaits you at Mount Southington, and a short spree to Ball Spring is always worthwhile. Laurel View Country
Club Golf is a great golf course nearby, and Grape Vine Point is in close proximity and always glorious to have a look at. This spot rocks, just look at all the exciting things to do near Lake Whitney. If you get bored of Lake Whitney,
you could also check out nearby Turners Pond; there are delightful places to discover along the Regicides Trail. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Powder Ridge; West Rock Ridge State Park is a tremendous place
to stretch your legs a bit. Why not go to Lake Whitney Dam if you're here; from Lake Whitney you obtain a perfect view of East Rock.
