     There are delightful places to explore along the Regicides Trail, also Lake Watrous Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here. This site is peerless, just explore all the exciting things to do right next door to Lake Watrous. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Powder Ridge is right next door to Lake Watrous. The peak of Carrington Hill can be made out from Lake Watrous, and dry warm beds await you at Marriott ExecuStay at New Haven. This lake is so wonderful.  
   Don't leave Lake Watrous without first going for a hike along the Naugatuck Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Watrous has to offer, you can camp at Gentile's Camp Ground.
So much amusing stuff to do at Lake Watrous, so little time. Stay the night at National Computer Camps, and getting to Sanford Brook from Lake Watrous is simple. The high level of rain makes Lake Watrous a rather wet place; the month of May is the wettest with
 
               most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Watrous, you could also stop by beautiful Lake Watrous; Econo Lodge Conference Center is a delightful site to get some rest.
Places like West Rock Ridge State Park are splendid to check out, and you can go for a hike on the Quinnipiac Trail. This is a popular place for people from New Haven-Milford, and the snow is perfect at Mount Southington. Glen Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and Laurel View Country Club Golf is a brilliant golf course nearby.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Watrous, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Watrous plunge into the 10's.
