Do stop by Lake Watrous while you're in this part of Connecticut. Lake Watrous gets a good deal of water; May is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You just ought to love Lake Watrous. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Sanford Brook. There's so much to do here at Lake Watrous that you need to camp here for a while, Gentile's Camp Ground is a great place for that.

Skiing at Mount Southington is one of those things you just have to do, and a good site like West Rock Ridge State Park is too glorious to leave out. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are really plentiful here at Lake Watrous. The Naugatuck Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close to Lake Watrous, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Conference Center.

Lake Watrous through the summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Lake Watrous. If the weather is good here at
Lake Watrous, you can go for a hike along the Quinnipiac Trail; do stop by Lake Watrous Dam while you're here. Near Lake Watrous you hit upon a golf course called Laurel View Country Club Golf; Carrington Hill is clearly visible from
Lake Watrous.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Regicides Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; if you came to camp Black Rock State Park is a fine place to do that. If you need a place to stay Best Value Inn is a wonderful choice, and you'll stumble on a striking lake called Glen Lake.
