Connecticut has many beautiful lakes and Lake Rockview is one of them. Yeah, come here to Lake Rockview for a wonderful time. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Salmon River. If you come at the right time of year, Hammonasset River offers some glorious whitewater; beaches are brilliant and Chapman Strand is no exception. Lake Rockview gets a large amount of water; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain,

| | and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Devil's Hopyard State Park if you're here at Lake Rockview; near Lake Rockview you discover a golf course called Hillside Links Golf Course. Swamps like Cedar Swamp are fun to pop by, and you'll hit upon a stunning lake called Ingham Ponds. Den Family Campground. Very great water scenery is available at Obed Heights Reservoir Dam close to Lake Rockview, and Lake Rockview is near Selden Neck State Park which is a striking site. Back River is a great local stream,
and you are right next door to Chapman Point since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Old Saybrook - Days Inn is a good choice, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not have a look at Chalkers Millpond.
So many amusing things to do here at Lake Rockview, too nice to be true. One of the dominant traits of the surroundings of Lake Rockview is Beacon Hill, and a great nearby hotel is Executive Inn and Suites Old Saybrook. Throughout
the warm months at Lake Rockview temperatures are usually in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows at Lake Rockview through the winter generally drop into the 10's.

 | 14 miles away THe fishermen aren't nice here, especially in the Fly fishing area, we caught a lot of heck from them last year. MAde the trip no fun, I won't return.
