This lake is so wonderful. At Lake Plymouth you always meet someone from New Haven-Milford. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Plymouth has to offer, you can camp at Gentile's Camp Ground. Birch Hill is a peak you can see from Lake Plymouth; Black Rock State Park is a great location to stop at on a pretty day. Have a good hiking adventure along the Mattatuck Trail, and an afternoon playing golf at Pequabuck       Golf Club of Bristol is always a delight. That right there is loads already, but it continues; Lake Plymouth has it all. The snow is splendid at Mount Southington; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Brophy Pond. The warmest time of the year at Lake Plymouth comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's,                  and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lake Plymouth. A day on the slopes of Ski Sundown is just what you need, and whitewater paddling is good on Farmington River - Riverton.
