High temperatures at Lake Mohegan all through the summer months are in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Mohegan dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. The high level of rain makes Lake Mohegan a pretty wet site; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake       is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Mohegan, you could also take a look at gorgeous Hoyt Pond, and here at Lake Mohegan you can observe Orchard Hill. The nice folks of Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk like to hang out close by, and you'll come across a pretty lake called Samp Mortar Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Black Rock Inn, and a fine place like Sherwood Island State Park is too fine to leave out. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Twin Links at Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Samp Mortar Reservoir Dam. Take a little journey to Cricker Brook if you're here at Lake Mohegan, and Jennings Beach is rather close by if you're in a beach type of mood. A perfect spot to camp here at Lake Mohegan is National Computer Camps, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Norwalk River.
