Simsbury Inn is a perfect location to get some rest, and Lake Mcdonough is right by the Mattatuck Trail. On a delightful day you obtain a vista of Breezy Hill from Lake Mcdonough; get yourself into a kayak and hit Farmington River - Riverton. Lakes are such calm sites, why not take a look at Barkhamsted Reservoir near Lake Mcdonough. Why not pop by Richards Corner Dam if you're here, and Ski Sundown has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff.
