Camping at Odetah Campground is always a great experience; lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Tadma Pond. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. There are swamps here too; Dark Swamp is nearby; good hiking is available along the Narragansett Trail. High temperatures at Lake Marie all through the months of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime

| | are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Marie are in the 10's. One of the governing features of the surroundings of Lake Marie is Wawecus Hill, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn NORWICH. This lake is so wonderful. Natchaug River is a perfect whitewater spot in close proximity to Lake Marie, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Norwich is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. State Park is a wonderful location to explore; there are other places here than Lake Marie, for example Fitchville Pond. Lake Marie ordinarily gets much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November; the driest month is
February. Lake Marie is good enough to spend more than a day at, Odetah is a good local campground; some of the water nearby flows, like Bentley Brook. Lake Marie is near Lake Marie Dam which is a delightful place beyond doubt worth a visit; you'll meet a lot of people from Norwich-New London here.
