    What a nice lake Lake Hayward is. Don't leave Lake Hayward without first paying a visit to Chapman Falls; if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Old Saybrook is a pleasant choice. Fox Hopyard Golf Club is a golf course close to Lake Hayward. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Lake Hayward reach the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; all through the dark hours in  
   the wintertime at Lake Hayward temperatures plunge to the 10's.
Paddling on Salmon River is so much fun; do go to Early Brook while you're here at Lake Hayward. Lake Hayward gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is May; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lake Hayward you get some nice water scenery at Upper Millpond Dam. Lakes? Sure, Urbanik Pond is in the neighborhood.

You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Lake Hayward. Not far from Lake Hayward, you'll discover Alexander Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and a brilliant place to camp here at Lake Hayward is Salem Farms Campground. At Lake Hayward you always meet someone from Norwich-New London; camping is available at Witch Meadow Lake Campsites.
One of the major traits of the surroundings of Lake Hayward is Long Hill, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Hilltop Inn-Niantic.

THe fishermen aren't nice here, especially in the Fly fishing area, we caught a lot of heck from them last year. MAde the trip no fun, I won't return. I am staying at odatah camp ground as I write this thay have wi-fi which is great. This is our first time here and we love it. we will be comming back many more times. We are staying in a nice cabin, but thay have very good camp sites as well. are cabin has a fridge,doubble bed,three twin beds but the (twins are a little narrow). This morning we played horseshoes Yhe seasonal campers were very under standing of are unfamiliarity with the game and had a wonderful time.we then went swimming in the lake. that was great. we then went in the pool and the hottub. hottub was nice and big. we then played shuffleboard and went to a barbeque(exellent ribs)and listen to a very good band. All in one day. can't wait for tomorrow....
