     At Hammonasset Reservoir Dam near Lake Hammonasset there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and a tremendous close by hotel is Tower Inn and Suites. Lake Hammonasset commonly gets lots of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is February. Yeah, come here to Lake Hammonasset for a pleasant time. Chestnut Hill is beautiful and can be seen from Lake Hammonasset, and a great place to camp here at Lake Hammonasset is  
   Hammonasset Beach State Park. At Lake Hammonasset through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake Hammonasset.
So many entertaining things to do here at Lake Hammonasset, too pleasant to be true. A tour to East Rive Beach next to Lake Hammonasset is always a great idea, and there's
 
               wonderful hiking along the West Woods Trail. Camping is available at Riverdale Camp Sites; there's whitewater on Hammonasset River for all you adrenaline kick people. This is a nice vicinity for folks who like lakes. Hammonasset Reservoir is a lake close by; if you need a site to stay Madison Beach Hotel is a splendid choice.
You can run the rapids of Roaring Brook River in the vicinity of Lake Hammonasset; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Powder Ridge. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Mattabesset Trail; if you want to hit the beach, Circle Beach is in the vicinity. A round of golf at nearby Guilford Lakes Golf Course is a delightful way to kill some time, and don't leave Lake Hammonasset without first going for a hike along the Washington Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Here at Lake Hammonasset you'll probably meet some people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford, and don't forget to take a wonderful little journey to Chatfield Hollow Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Laurelwood Pond, and don't leave without going to Chatfield Hollow State Park.
