Many people like to go to Lake Bethany. There's so much to do here at Lake Bethany that you need to camp here for a while, Gentile's Camp Ground is a splendid site for that, and Lake Bethany is near West Rock Ridge State Park which is a scenic spot. Dry warm beds await you at Hamden-Days Inn, and going for a hike on the Naugatuck Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Lots of people from New Haven-Milford come to Lake Bethany, and obviously Sanford Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth taking a look at. Having a great time at Lake Bethany is easy. Econo Lodge Conference Center is a delightful location to spend a night or two, and get covered with water paddling on Farmington River - Collinsville. Head up to Powder Ridge and strap some skis to your feet, and the Regicides
Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. The summit of Carrington Hill can be seen from Lake Bethany; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Mount Southington. So much exciting stuff close to Lake Bethany,
