If you       want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Ladner Pond. Camping at Buck's Rock Camp is always a delightful experience; a great beach nearby is Pine Ledge. Be careful coming to Ladner Pond, you might not ever wanna return back home again. While you're here at Ladner Pond you can play some golf at Candlewood Valley Country Club, and Lookout Point is quite close. Don't forget to take a delightful little tour to Bullymuck Brook; going for                  a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a fine adventure. Don't leave Ladner Pond without visiting Squantz Pond State Park; you don’t have to go far from Ladner Pond to spot the water at Ladner Pond Dam. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mohawk Mountain. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Ladner Pond while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Ladner Pond tend to be in the 10's. Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Thunder Ridge, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Ferris Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Lake Waramaug State Park; there are some nice whitewater spots on East Aspetuck River. Lakes are pleasant; Henderson Pond is a lake that's close to Ladner Pond, and some attention-grabbing geology is available here, Kelly Slide is right here. This lake is so wonderful.
