     Mansfield Hollow State Park is a wonderful location to pop by, and swamps don’t sound that delightful but Fox Swamp right next door to Knowlton Pond is reasonably delightful. Why not camp at Moosemeadow Camping Resort since you're here at Knowlton Pond, and do take some time to go to Natchaug State Forest while you're here. All through the days of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Knowlton Pond, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.  
   During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Knowlton Pond are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Knowlton Pond, you could also explore delightful Moritz Pond, and Knowlton Pond is not far at all from Willimantic.
This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Leander Pond near Knowlton Pond, it's a beautiful lake, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Natchaug
 
               River. This place, Knowlton Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. After a long day outdoors Best Western Regent Inn is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Bebbington Brook. Quaboag River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and a great place to camp here at Knowlton Pond is Brialee Campground.
Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a fine location to get some rest, and Knowlton Hill is delightful and can be observed from here. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to distinguish at McLaughlin Pond Dam near Knowlton Pond. Knowlton Pond is a wet place that gets a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November; the driest month of the year is February.
