    If you are in this part of Connecticut make sure to pay a visit to Knowlton Pond. Very magnificent water scenery is available at McLaughlin Pond Dam close to Knowlton Pond, and you'll meet a lot of people from Willimantic here. The panorama of Knowlton Hill from Knowlton Pond is beautiful; Natchaug State Forest is a tremendous forest vicinity nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Mansfield Hollow State Park is a tremendous site to go if you're at Knowlton Pond;  
   in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quaboag River.
Some of the water nearby flows, like Bebbington Brook, and not far from Knowlton Pond you'll find Hansens Pond which is a beautiful lake. Knowlton Pond is a relatively wet place commonly with lots of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain while February is regularly the driest month. For the period of the summer here at Knowlton
 
               Pond, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Knowlton Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
Having a wonderful time at Knowlton Pond is easy. If you need a site to stay Best Western Regent Inn is a good choice, and why not camp at Moosemeadow Camping Resort if you're here at Knowlton Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Fox Swamp is right close by; dry warm beds await you at Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center.
Natchaug River is a perfect whitewater spot near Knowlton Pond, and camping is available at Brialee Campground.
