     There are other places here than Kinney Pond, for example Myers Pond, and you can stay the night at Beaver Pines Campground. This lake is so wonderful. You get a magnificent sight of Coye Hill from Kinney Pond; Bigelow Hollow State Park is a wonderful site to stretch your legs a bit. This lake is so wonderful. Days Inn Sturbridge is a great site to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Kinney Pond has to offer, you can camp at Brialee  
   Campground. You can run the rapids of Quaboag River in the neighborhood of Kinney Pond, and a tour to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is worthwhile.
If you need a location to stay Travelodge Sturbridge is a great choice, and Bigelow Pond is a perfect lake nearby. High temperatures at Kinney Pond through the long summer days are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's,
 
               and night lows at Kinney Pond during the winter generally sink into the 10's. The high level of precipitation makes Kinney Pond a quite wet location; during November this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture.
If you love the outdoors, you'll adore Kinney Pond. Get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Natchaug River, and you'll possibly meet some people from Willimantic here.
