Some nice nature is available in Quaddick State Forest, and do pay a visit to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor if you're here at Kingsbury Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Sutton, and when you're here it's always fun to check out Quaddick State Park. During the summertime highs here at Kingsbury Pond reach the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter

| | highs are in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Kingsbury Pond. You are near Lower Cedar Cove while you're here at Kingsbury Pond, and going for a hike on the Border Trail is always a nice adventure. Kingsbury Pond gets a good deal of water; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. if you're here, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Quinebaug River. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Kingsbury Pond, you'll stumble on Stump Pond which is a pretty lake, and
the nice folks of Willimantic like to hang out close by. Kingsbury Pond is a brilliant spot to visit for more than one day, Webster Koa Family Kampground is a brilliant spot to camp nearby, and swamps like Jerrys Swamp in close proximity
to Kingsbury Pond make for glorious locations to explore. Buck Hill Family Campground is a glorious local campground; there's whitewater on Clear and Branch for all you adrenaline kick people. That right there is a heap already,
but it continues; Kingsbury Pond has it all. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Mavis Pond Number 1, and Comfort Inn & Suites Dayville is a magnificent site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
At Kingsbury Pond you can observe Mount Daniels; you can go for a hike on the Walkabout Trail. There is a delightful hiking trail near Kingsbury Pond called the Munyan Trail; Croff Farm Brook is right next door to Kingsbury Pond and is always a delight to stop at.
