     There's so much to do here at Killingworth Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, River Road Campground is a brilliant location for that, and if you want to hit the beach, Clinton Beach is in the vicinity. A lake nearby is Murray Ponds, and going for a hike along the Washington Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Cedar Swamp is an exciting swamp close to Killingworth Reservoir, and unsurprisingly Heft Brook flows through this  
   area. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Salmon River, and why not head up to Powder Ridge and strap some skis to your feet.
This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Riverdale Camp Sites is a nice site to do that, and one of the principal marks of the surroundings of Killingworth Reservoir is Roast Meat Hill. Killingworth Reservoir is a wet spot that gets a large amount of precipitation;
 
               May is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
Murray Pond Number 2 is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; you must unquestionably visit wonderful Clinton Town Beach since you're here. If the weather is glorious here at Killingworth Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the West Woods Trail, and if you need a site to stay A Victorian Village Inn is a good choice. A glorious nearby hotel is Madison Beach Hotel, and Hammonasset River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by.
Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in close proximity to Killingworth Reservoir. If you're a golfer then a perfect nearby course is Hillside Links Golf Course; Chatfield Hollow State Park is a perfect place to stop at on a delightful day. This lake is so wonderful. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Mattabesset Trail, and Killingworth Reservoir Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. The warmest time of the year at Killingworth Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Killingworth Reservoir tend to be in the 10's.

THe fishermen aren't nice here, especially in the Fly fishing area, we caught a lot of heck from them last year. MAde the trip no fun, I won't return.
