If you are in Fairfield county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Kenosia. There's some flowing water nearby, Kissen Brook is a stream you can have a look at while here, and why not head up to Thunder Ridge and strap some skis to your feet. | | Aspetuck River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Norwalk River in a kayak; dry warm beds await you at Danbury Super 8 Motel. Summertime at Lake Kenosia comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the night is slightly cooler of course, frequently in the 60's. at Lake Kenosia; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Wataba Lake, and why not go
to a swamp like Mill Plain Swamp while you're here at Lake Kenosia. Not far from Lake Kenosia you get some great water scenery at Shadow Lake Dam; if you need a spot to stay Comfort Suites Danbury is a fine choice. This lake is
so wonderful. Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve is worth taking a look at if you're at Lake Kenosia, and a round of golf at nearby Richter Park Municipal Golf Course is a good way to kill some time. A good place to camp here
at Lake Kenosia is Mountain Workshop, and folks from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown love to come here. Lake Kenosia is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Kettletown State Park is a splendid local campground.
