This lake is so wonderful. East Aspetuck River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby; if you like swamps you're in luck, Mill Plain Swamp is right nearby. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Lake Kenosia. A tour to Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve revives the soul, and if you get bored of Lake       Kenosia you could also check out nearby Shadow Lake. Paddling on Norwalk River is so much fun, and Mountain Workshop is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Richter Park Municipal Golf Course not far from Lake Kenosia; Lake Kenosia is not far at all from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown.
