Pond called the Mattatuck Trail; skiing at Mount Southington is one of those things you just should do. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Crowne Plaza Hotel SOUTHBURY is a brilliant choice, and if you came for
an overnight stay Black Rock State Park is a wonderful location to camp. The Naugatuck Trail is a perfect hiking trail next to Kelley Pond; a golf course nearby is Golf Club at Oxford. Lots of people from New Haven-Milford come
to Kelley Pond, and Bantam River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Quassapaug Dam is a stunning place close to Kelley Pond, and Blackmans Hill is a peak you can spot from Kelley Pond.
Do schedule some time to check out Big Cove in the neighborhood of Kelley Pond if you have a chance, and whitewater paddling is great on Shepaug River. Very charming scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Woodbury; Heritage
Hotel is a perfect place to get some rest. The high level of rain makes Kelley Pond a relatively wet site; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
