     Taking a little visit to nearby Paper Rock is a great idea, and Keighley Pond is right by the Mattabesset Trail. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are in fact abundant here at Keighley Pond. There's so much to do here at Keighley Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Nelson's Family Campground is a great place for that, and you can run the rapids of Roaring Brook River. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Great Hill Pond while you're here  
   at Keighley Pond; it's close by, and Powder Ridge is a great local ski area. Looking for something near Keighley Pond? Carlson Pond is in the neighborhood, and don't forget to take a fine little tour to Great Hill Pond Brook.
You clearly ought to fancy Keighley Pond. Take a hike on the Washington Trail, and here at Keighley Pond you can see Chestnut Hill. Dry warm beds await you at Inn At Middletown; a wonderful place for whitewater paddling is Salmon
 
               River. Hurd State Park is a charming place any time of year, and Great Hill Pond Dam is not far at all from Keighley Pond.
For you golfers we recommend close by Quarry Ridge Golf Course; the smiling people of Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford like to hang out close by. All through the summertime, highs usually are in the 80's at Keighley Pond. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 30's with temperatures at Keighley Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Markham Meadows Campgrounds is a magnificent place to do that, and if you need a site to stay Passport Inn and Suites Middletown is a splendid choice. Keighley Pond gets a lot of water; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
