Powder Ridge is a very popular ski area nearby, and do take a hike on the Mattabesset Trail. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Jordan Pond. Jordan Pond is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Little City Campground is a nice spot to camp nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Take a little journey to Cathole Brook while you're here at Jordan Pond,

| | and if you need a place to stay Hampton Inn Meriden Wallingford is a wonderful choice. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mount Southington, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Washington Trail.

mostly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Jordan Pond tend to be in the 10's. Camp Eagle Feather is a wonderful
campground nearby, and popping by Wharton Brook State Park is a great thing to do.
This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Farmington River - Collinsville, and Buckwheat Hill is scenic and
can be spotted from here. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something in close proximity to Jordan Pond? New Dam Pond is close by, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to observe at Baldwins Pond Dam in the neighborhood
of Jordan Pond. While you're here at Jordan Pond you can take a hike along the Mattabesset Trail, and if you want to hit the beach, Dossin Park Beach is in close proximity.
Jordan Pond is not the only location close by, Baldwins
Pond is a close by lake, and folks from New Haven-Milford love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Roaring Brook River near Jordan Pond, and if you're here you can play some golf at Hunter Memorial Golf Course.
