Saint Johns Ledges is an attention-grabbing thing to make out while you're here at Jordan Pond, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Indian Trail. Some nearby water includes Choggam Brook; Sharon Motor Lodge is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Blatz Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; if you came for an overnight       stay Buck's Rock Camp is a fine place to camp. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Jordan Pond. The vista of Calebs Peak from Jordan Pond is beautiful, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Housatonic River. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Jordan Pond. Really nice skiing awaits you at Mohawk Mountain, and after a long day outdoors The Cottages                  At Kent Road is a delightful place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Thunder Ridge has great slopes and a friendly staff, and a glorious site like Macedonia Brook State Park is too splendid to leave out. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Jordan Pond; Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a tremendous local trail, and a lake nearby is Fuller Pond. Jordan Pond gets a normal amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. Jordan Pond is a place with many visitors from Torrington; Lake Waramaug State Park is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Ten Mile River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Throughout the summer months at Jordan Pond highs are frequently in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Jordan Pond temperatures fall to the 10's.
