Tom State Park is a wonderful place to go. Any time is a splendid time at Jones Pond if you adore the outdoors. Not far from Jones Pond, you'll come across Emmons Pond which is a beautiful lake, and Keeler Cove is in the neighborhood and always glorious to take a look at. If you need a location to stay The Mayflower Inn & Spa is a splendid choice; you'll in all probability meet some folks from Torrington here. High       temperatures at Jones Pond all through the long summer days are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's while Jones Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. This place is unbeatable, just look at all the enjoyable things to do near Jones Pond. During your stay at Jones Pond do check out close by Morris Town Beach, and don't leave Jones Pond without first going for a hike along the Naugatuck Trail. Bizell Brook is a stream that you may bump into while here, and why not take a look at Jones Pond Dam if you're here. Drift down the rapids of Shepaug River in a kayak, and a delightful nearby hotel is Tollgate Hill Inn. Golf can be played at Stonybrook Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Jones Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cozy Hills Campground is a splendid spot for that. Jones Pond regularly gets a lot of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
