Waterhouse Pond Dam is worth checking out while you're here; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Mattabesset Trail. Paddling on Salmon River is so much fun, and Pine Ledge is something you shouldn't miss since you're here. So many fun things in close proximity to Jennings Pond, simply unbelievable. Going for a hike along the Washington Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; dry warm beds await you at Waters Edge Resort

| | and Spa. Devil's Hopyard State Park is a great campground nearby, and you can hit the slopes at Powder Ridge close at hand. Don't forget to explore Deep River Cove if you're here at Jennings Pond, and Griswold Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit. Having a good time at Jennings Pond is trouble-free. You get a brilliant panorama of Fort Hill from Jennings Pond; while you're here, you could also visit pretty Upper Pond. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Some nearby water includes Chester Creek; get soaked paddling on Hammonasset River. A tour to Gillette Castle State Park when you're here at Jennings Pond is a great idea, and Wolf's Den Family Campground is a good local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Old Saybrook is a wonderful choice, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Hillside Links Golf Course. Summertime highs at Jennings Pond generally tend to be in
the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Jennings Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Jennings Pond a wet site; May is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest.
