Why not take a refreshing hike along the Elbow Trail; nice skiing awaits you at Ski Sundown. of Beech Hill can be made out from Ivy Mountain Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Tollgate Hill Inn is a great choice, and there are plenty of folks from Torrington here. Since you might be in a lake
visiting mood you can always explore nearby Gillette Reservoir, and John A. Minetto State Park is a delightful location to go. Hemlock Hill Camp Resort and Co-operative is a splendid campground nearby, and Ivy Mountain Pond Dam is
a lovely location, positively worth a visit. Take a hike on the Wild Cat Trail. Lakes? Sure, North Pond is around here.
