Stay the       night at Valley In The Pines Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Ivy Mountain Pond; Mattatuck Trail is a great local trail. For the duration of the summer months at Ivy Mountain Pond highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's.
