Iris Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Pond Meadows is a swamp right next door to Iris Pond, and Mount Southington is a very popular ski area nearby. You'll meet a lot of people from New Haven-Milford here, and don't leave Iris Pond without first going for a hike along the Quinnipiac Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard By Marriott New Haven At Yale, and Pine Rock is an attention-grabbing place to stop at while at Iris Pond.

Center Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by; there's good hiking along the Naugatuck Trail. For the period of the summertime months at Iris Pond highs are ordinarily in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the
50's. For the period of the winter highs are commonly in the 30's while Iris Pond overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. Sea Bluff Beach is near Iris Pond and is a beautiful beach to pop by; Iris Pond is
