     There are other locations here than Ingham Ponds, for example Cranberry Pond, and a tour to Haydens Point is always a great idea. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hammonasset River, and after a long day outdoors Executive Inn and Suites Old Saybrook is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Why not have a look at close by Back River since you're here at Ingham Ponds, and you can take  
   a little journey to Obed Heights Reservoir Dam since you're here at Ingham Ponds. Ingham Ponds sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Wolf's Den Family Campground since you're here at Ingham Ponds, and you can spend the day on the beach at Great Hammock Beach. From Ingham Ponds you obtain a great panorama of Beacon Hill,
 
               and a day at striking Indiantown Beach right next door to Ingham Ponds is a pleasant thing to do. Just can't get enough of Ingham Ponds. Dry warm beds await you at Deacon Timothy Pratt Bed and Breakfast Inn, and swamps are interesting sites and Cedar Swamp near Ingham Ponds is no exception.
So many amusing things to do at Ingham Ponds, so little time. Salmon River is a great whitewater spot next to Ingham Ponds. If you came for an overnight stay Devil's Hopyard State Park is a nice place to camp; since you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Hillside Links Golf Course. Summertime highs at Ingham Ponds commonly tend to be in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's; night lows at Ingham Ponds during the winter generally drop into the 10's.
Selden Neck State Park is a pleasant location to stretch your legs a bit, and not far from Ingham Ponds you'll come across Chalkers Millpond which is a gorgeous lake.

THe fishermen aren't nice here, especially in the Fly fishing area, we caught a lot of heck from them last year. MAde the trip no fun, I won't return.
