Not far from Indian Pond you obtain some fine water scenery at Gorton Pond Dam, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Attawan Beach. Indian Pond is a reasonably wet place usually with a large amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Do schedule some       time to stop by Black Point in close proximity to Indian Pond if you have a chance; the panorama of striking Mount Ararat is great. The Bar is close to Indian Pond and is absolutely a perfect place to stop at, and do stop at Pattagansett River while you're here at Indian Pond. All through the warm months at Indian Pond highs are regularly in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down all through                  the wintertime temperatures at Indian Pond descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. People from Norwich-New London love to come to Indian Pond, and a good beach nearby is Giants Neck Beach. A wooded vicinity in close proximity to Indian Pond is Indian Woods, and Americas Best Value Inn/Niantic is a glorious spot to get some rest. This place, Indian Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors cool stuff. Camping at Camp Niantic By The Atlantic is always a great experience. Yeah, come here to Indian Pond for a great time. Nearby lakes? Sure, Little Dodge Pond is next to Indian Pond, and if you came to camp Rocky Neck State Park is a tremendous place to do that. This lake is so wonderful.
