There's some exciting stuff to catch a sight of at Indian Lake Dam near Indian Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Riverdale Camp Sites is a pleasant spot to camp. On a great day at Indian Lake you can take a hike along the Mattabesset Trail, and after a long day outdoors A Victorian Village Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. Near Indian Lake you stumble on the Washington Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and Upper Millpond is a splendid lake nearby. And that's not all you can do here at
Indian Lake. A pretty lake like Lockwood Lake right next door to Indian Lake is a great site to stop by, and on a delightful day you can stop by Clinton Town Beach. There is a glorious hiking trail right next door to Indian Lake called
the West Woods Trail, and golf can be played at Hillside Links Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Clinton Beach close to Indian Lake is always a brilliant idea, and a nice spot to go to is Stone Island Reef. You
just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area in close proximity to Indian Lake has to offer. A trip to Hammonasset Beach State Park when you're here at Indian Lake is a great idea, and you can run the rapids of Salmon
River. If you need a spot to stay Madison Beach Hotel is a splendid choice, and a visit to nearby Clinton Harbor is very relaxing. Indian Lake commonly gets much rain; the wettest month of the year is usually April, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February.

 | 16 miles away THe fishermen aren't nice here, especially in the Fly fishing area, we caught a lot of heck from them last year. MAde the trip no fun, I won't return.
