Beautiful Iffland Pond has much to offer visitors. All through the summer months at Iffland Pond highs are regularly in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Iffland Pond tend to be in the 10's. East Branch Naugatuck River is a pretty stream that is worth visiting, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn - Torrington. The high level

| | of precipitation makes Iffland Pond a reasonably wet site; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Iffland Pond, you'll come across Besse Park Pond which is a beautiful lake; there's some interesting stuff to catch a glimpse of at West Branch Dam next to Iffland Pond. Inn is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Macedonia Brook State Park while you're here at Iffland Pond, and the Tunxis Trail offers hiking at its best. What a place this is for outdoors people. When
you're here at Iffland Pond it's always fun to visit Burr Pond State Park; hiking is a popular thing to do around Iffland Pond; Mattatuck Trail is a splendid local trail. Iffland Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors
paradise. A splendid spot to camp here at Iffland Pond is Burr Pond State Park, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Farmington River - Riverton. Golf can be played at
Fairview Farm Golf Course, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Torrington here. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Sundown; a brilliant spot for whitewater paddling is Bantam River. If you want to
hit the beach, Litchfield Town Beach is in close proximity, and the top of Besse Hill is easily spotted from Iffland Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are great; Church Street Reservoir is a lake that's close to Iffland Pond, and there's good hiking along the Mattatuck Trail.
