A perfect place to camp here at Huntington Pond is Mountain Workshop. At Huntington Pond throughout the summer months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Huntington Pond nighttime low temperatures throughout       the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Kettletown State Park, and the snow is glorious at Thunder Ridge. All the water falling down from the sky makes Huntington Pond a wet place; July is when you get the most rain here while January is mostly the driest month. Huntington Pond Dike is a place that is in close proximity to Huntington Pond, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Woodbury.                  This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something in the vicinity of Huntington Pond? South Pond is nearby, and from Huntington Pond you get a magnificent panorama of Coolfish Hill. Huntington Pond is not the only place close by, Lily Pond is a close by lake, and paddling on East Aspetuck River is so much fun.
