What a nice lake Hulseman Pond is. Through the warm days of summer at Hulseman Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Hulseman Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Roaring Brook River in a kayak; a good swamp next to Hulseman Pond is Webb Swamp. Not enough hours in

| | a day to enjoy this place. A spree to Hurd State Park rejuvenates the spirit, and naturally, this is a nice region for people who like lakes, Hales Pond is a lake close by. Man, is there a load of exciting stuff to do near Hulseman Pond. Getting to Hales Brook from Hulseman Pond is simple, and Quarry Ridge Golf Course is a good golf course close by. February is commonly the driest month. The Bald Hill Range is a major feature of the vicinity around Hulseman Pond; Inn At Middletown is a splendid site to get some rest. There's a perfect forest near Hulseman Pond called Meshomasic
State Forest, and the Mattabesset Trail offers hiking at its best. Here at Hulseman Pond there are plenty of people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford, and dry warm beds await you at Hilton Garden Inn Hartford South/Glastonbury.
This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the Washington Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Salmon River offers some fine whitewater. A fine place to camp here at Hulseman Pond is Nelson's Family Campground;
if the weather is delightful, you get a delightful view of Bald Hill Range from Hulseman Pond. Nearby lakes? Sure, Loos Pond is close to Hulseman Pond; don't leave Hulseman Pond without first going for a hike along the Mattabesset
Trail. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Powder Ridge, and why not camp at Markham Meadows Campgrounds while you're here at Hulseman Pond.
