a night or two. Cross Brook is a pleasant spot to go to, and do go to Bleachery Dam while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Woodbury is just what you need, and you can run the rapids of Tenmile. Go
for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; if you need a site to stay Homestead Inn is a nice choice. Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Housatonic River Reservoir. You have
to positively take a look at Lovers Leap since you're here at Housatonic River Reservoir, and Housatonic River Reservoir is not the only place close by, New Milford Reservoir Number 1 is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful.
Head up to Thunder Ridge and strap some skis to your feet; if you get bored of Housatonic River Reservoir you could also take a look at nearby Ferris Pond. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Housatonic River Reservoir;
through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. An afternoon playing golf at Candlewood Valley Country Club is always a delight, and don’t forget to have a look at Indian Field since you're here at Housatonic River Reservoir.
