Horseshoe Lagoon is a nice lake to visit. Stay the night at National Computer Camps; West Rock Ridge State Park is a good place to stretch your legs a bit. Summertime highs at Horseshoe Lagoon regularly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Do check out Maltby Lakes North Dam if you're here at Horseshoe Lagoon; if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Regicides Trail. you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Orange Hills Country Club is in the neighborhood. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Horseshoe Lagoon has to offer, you can camp at Holiday Hill Day Camp, and after
a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - West Haven is a fine place to spend a night or two. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Horseshoe Lagoon. Pine Rock is an attention-grabbing location to go to while
at Horseshoe Lagoon, and a spree to nearby Wigwam Neck is very relaxing. If you want to hit the beach, Sea Bluff Beach is close by; the Quinnipiac Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. Horseshoe Lagoon is not the only place close
by, Center Pond is a close by lake; on a pretty day you acquire a perfect vista of Allington Hill from Horseshoe Lagoon. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular spot for people from New Haven-Milford, and there is a magnificent
hiking trail nearby called the Naugatuck Trail. A great deal of rain falls at Horseshoe Lagoon; the month with most of the rain is May while February is typically the driest month.
