This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Hodge Pond is a place with many visitors from Norwich-New London; Hilltop Inn and Suites is a great place to get some rest. Hodge Pond ordinarily gets lots of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and June meanwhile       is the driest month. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Hodge Pond reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Hodge Pond through the wintertime commonly drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves Sand Plains, and Yawgoo Valley is a very popular ski area close by. If you love the outdoors, you'll love Hodge Pond. Hopeville Pond State Park is a fine place to pop by on a gorgeous day, and you can stay the night at Natures Campsites. Dark Hollow Brook is a stream that you may run into while you're here; Grist Mill Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. This lake is so wonderful. A fine place for whitewater paddling close to Hodge Pond is Quinebaug River; golf can be played at Fenner Hill Country Club.
