You don’t have to go far from Hoadley Pond to observe the water at Hoadley Pond Dam, and the Regicides Trail offers hiking at its best. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Hoadley Pond, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, generally in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime       are in the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Hoadley Pond plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Going to Osbornedale State Park near Hoadley Pond is a fine thing to do. Lakes? Sure, Little River Reservoir is in close proximity. Hoadley Pond is right by the Quinnipiac Trail, and Wildcat Gorge is also a glorious site to look at. Hoadley Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the                  one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area in close proximity to Hoadley Pond has to offer. A glorious close by hotel is Comfort Inn Naugatuck, and after a long day outdoors Hilton Garden Inn Shelton is a great spot to spend a night or two. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Woodbury, and obviously Bladens River flows through this area. This lake is so wonderful. Really great skiing awaits you at Mount Southington, and lots of people from New Haven-Milford come here. Why not camp at Branchbrook Campground if you're here at Hoadley Pond, and there are other places here than Hoadley Pond, for example Naugatuck River Reservoir. Hoadley Pond in fact is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise.
