A perfect location like Bigelow Hollow State Park near Hiscox Pond is too great to leave out; it's a brilliant idea to check out Black Hall River. There's some interesting stuff to distinguish at Upper Bungee Lake Dam in the vicinity of Hiscox Pond, and drift down the rapids of Quinebaug River in a kayak. The high level of rainfall makes Hiscox Pond a quite wet place; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most while February

There's so much to do here at Hiscox Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Chamberlain Lake Campground is a nice location for that, and a trip to Woodstock Town Beach is always a nice idea. Do pay a visit to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor while you're here at Hiscox Pond; going for a hike on the Border Trail is always a glorious adventure. Stay the night at Black Pond Campground; if you need a location to stay Travelodge Sturbridge is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Natchaug River; naturally, this is a pleasant area for people
who like lakes, Kenyon Pond is a lake nearby. You clearly must like Hiscox Pond. The friendly folks of Willimantic like to hang out close by, and you're in all probability into lakes, Dickinson Pond is one of those close by. You
believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. From Hiscox Pond you get a nice vista of Bungee Hill, and Days Inn Sturbridge is a wonderful location to get some rest. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Hiscox Pond
highs are usually in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and night lows throughout the winter for Hiscox Pond tend to be in the 10's.
