a great deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. City Hill is picturesque and can be seen from Hills Pond Number 2, and hiking along
the Mattatuck Trail is perfect fun. A splendid place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Hills Pond Number 2 is Bantam River. Having a great time at Hills Pond Number 2 is easy. West Rock Ridge State Park is worth taking
