The Mattatuck Trail offers hiking at its best, and Woodbury is a brilliant local ski area. For the duration of the summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Hills Pond Number 1. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hills Pond Number 1. Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Bantam River. Everybody loves Black Rock State Park;
