Why not stop by High Hill Pond if you're passing through these parts. The high level of rain makes High Hill Pond a quite wet site; May is the wettest month with most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Roaring Brook River, and the skiing at Powder Ridge is brilliant. This lake is so wonderful. | | and a good place to camp here at High Hill Pond is Little City Campground. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Black Pond, and if you're stopping by from New Haven-Milford, you won't be the only one. lake close at hand. Summertime at High Hill Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are commonly in the 30's while the cold winter nights
at High Hill Pond are in the 10's. Having a great time at High Hill Pond is trouble-free. Going for a hike on the Washington Trail is always a great adventure; after a long day outdoors Four Points By Sheraton Meriden is a great
spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Indian Springs Golf Club is a wonderful golf course close by, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Mount Southington. Dry warm beds await you at Candlewood Suites Hartford/Meriden,
Ct, and at High Hill Pond you can catch a sight of Beseck Mountain. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can take a look at High Hill Pond Dam, and close by you come across the Mattabesset Trail which is a great hiking
trail. You should positively pop by pretty Dossin Park Beach while you're here at High Hill Pond, and High Hill Pond is next to Wadsworth Falls State Park which is a scenic spot. This lake is so wonderful. High Hill Pond is good
enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Eagle Feather is a good local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Hammonasset River offers some great whitewater.
