You can take a little tour to Hidden Lake Dam while you're here at Hidden Lake; Chatfield Hollow State Park is a splendid location to stop at on a beautiful day. Just can't get enough of Hidden Lake. Riverdale Camp Sites is a good local campground, and Fricks Pond is a great lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There is a perfect hiking trail next to Hidden Lake called the Mattabesset Trail, and Goose Hill can be seen from Hidden Lake. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Madison Beach Hotel is a great place to get some rest, and get wet paddling on Salmon River. Hidden Lake gets much water; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. The warmest time of the year at Hidden Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Hidden Lake dipping down into the 10's | |

during winter nights. Going for a hike on the Mattabesset Trail is always a good adventure, and you're sure to bump into some friendly folks from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford here. So many cool things to do at Hidden Lake,
so little time. Near Hidden Lake you find the Washington Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and a scenic lake like Hackney Pond is a pleasant place to visit. If you need a site to stay A Victorian Village Inn is a perfect choice,
and hey, Gotta ski right? Powder Ridge is a pleasant location to do that. Why not camp at Little City Campground since you're here at Hidden Lake, and paddling on Hammonasset River is so much fun.
