Yeah, come here to Hewitt Pond for a nice time. You'll meet a lot of folks from Norwich-New London here, and a journey to Hopeville Pond State Park is a brilliant idea. This lake is so wonderful. Quinebaug River is a magnificent whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Hewitt Pond. Through the       warmest time of the year, highs commonly are in the 80's at Hewitt Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Hewitt Pond are in the 10's. Hewitt Pond generally gets lots of precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is June. After a long day outdoors Bellissimo Grande Hotel Suites is a splendid site to spend a night                  or two; playing golf is lots of fun at Pequot Golf Club. If the weather is delightful, you obtain a tremendous vista of Barns Hill from Hewitt Pond; if you need a spot to stay Hilltop Inn and Suites is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Gallup Pond is in the neighborhood of Hewitt Pond, and naturally Hill Brook flows through this region. This is a delightful area for people who like lakes. Silex Pond is a lake close at hand.
