You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hendersons Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mountain Workshop; if you need a place to stay Ridgefield CT Days Inn is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Barretts Brook is a great local stream; a wonderful lake like Sheffield Pond is a splendid site to stop at. If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Hendersons Pond. Whitewater paddling is delightful       on Norwalk River, and there are plenty of people from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown here. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Spectacle Swamp close to Hendersons Pond make for nice places to check out, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not go to Kents Pond. Throughout the months of summer here at Hendersons Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's; the overnight is a bit chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime brings                  highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Hendersons Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Roger Sherman Inn (Le), and if you're a golfer then a magnificent nearby course is Oak Hills Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Hendersons Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Kettletown State Park is a great site for that, and Kents Pond Dam is gorgeous. Very lovely scenery and great skiing is what you get at Thunder Ridge. Hendersons Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls all through May while January is ordinarily the driest month.
