stop at close by Lake Mohegan, and Mountain Workshop is a great local campground. You simply have to love Hemlock Reservoir. Spend the day on the beach at Southport Beach if you're here at Hemlock Reservoir, and spots like Sherwood
Island State Park are splendid to visit. Sail Caribbean is a tremendous campground nearby; Best Western Black Rock Inn is a good site to get some rest. Through the summertime months at Hemlock Reservoir temperatures are typically
in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Hemlock Reservoir temperatures drop to the 10's. Hemlock Reservoir is a
rather wet place ordinarily with much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
