A visit to Held Pond is always a good idea. If you came for an overnight stay Sail Caribbean is a magnificent place to camp. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Beaver Brook Pond, and while here here do stop at close by Alvord Beach. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Inn at National Hall is a fine location to spend a night or two; a day at Compo Beach is time well spent.

| | Why not camp at Mountain Workshop if you're here at Held Pond; you acquire a brilliant vista of Camfield Hill from here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Held Pond a wet location; through May this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Lakes? Sure, Cobbs Mill Pond is in close proximity, and pleasant water scenery is available at Lees Pond Dam in close proximity to Held Pond.

kayak, and Sherwood Island State Park is a wonderful spot any time of year. High temperatures at Held Pond all through the months of summer are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs through
the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Held Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Hilton Garden Inn Norwalk; as expected Aspetuck River is a stunning stream that is worth visiting.
This is no spot
for people who don’t like to have a good time. Oak Hills Golf Course is a delightful golf course close by, and at Held Pond you always meet someone from Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk.
